Mac and Cheese Recipe Without Oven, Delicious and Savory!

Mac and cheese is one of the foods from America that is loved by many people. The savory taste and creamy texture make this food melt in your mouth at the first bite. Even America has Mac and Cheese Day every June 14th.

Usually we can find mac and cheese in restaurants. But, you can make it yourself at home and enjoy it right away. Moreover, mac and cheese consists of macaroni which contains carbohydrates. Meanwhile, cheese adds protein content. So, it is very suitable to be served at home with the family. No need to have an oven to cook it, here's the recipe.

Ingredients

  • 150 gr Macaroni
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 onion
  • 4 garlics
  • 1 sausage,
  • 200 ml of liquid milk 2 tablespoons of flour
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 80 gram quickmelt cheese
  • 60 grams of cheddar cheese to taste
  • Black pepper powder

Note: Sausage can be substituted for chicken, corned beef, or beef.

Steps to make it

  1. Finely chop the onion and garlic, set aside.
  2. Cut the sausage into cubes. If using chicken or beef, boil it first until it is cooked and tender before cutting it into pieces
  3. Boil macaroni with 1 teaspoon salt until cooked, remove and drain.
  4. Mix milk with flour, set aside.
  5. Heat the butter then add the onion and garlic, stir until fragrant.
  6. Once it's enough, add the sausage/chicken/meat, add the milk that has been mixed with the flour, stir until smooth.
  7. After that, add the quickmelt cheese and cheddar cheese. Add black pepper powder to taste (according to taste).
  8. Add the cooked macaroni and mix well.
  9. After everything is cooked, serve in a beautiful container then sprinkle with parsley and grated cheese.

Note: for maximum taste, use good quality ingredients. Especially in the selection of flour, cheese, and milk. As much as possible avoid bulk food ingredients. Choose one that already has an official brand. Each brand has a different taste. Ladies can explore with various brands to find the most suitable taste.
