Korean Cream Cheese Garlic Bread Recipe

Ingredients Korean Cream Cheese Garlic Bread

Bread Ingredients:

  • 250 grams of high protein flour
  • 110 liquid milk
  • 30 grams of sugar
  • 1 tsp yeast
  • 1 egg
  • 20 grams of unsalted butter
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Cream Cheese Filling Ingredients:

  • 200 gram cream cheese
  • 50 ml of liquid whipped cream or can be replaced with 20 ml of liquid milk
  • 30 grams of sugar
  • Garlic Butter Sauce Dipping Ingredients:
  • 120 grams of unsalted butter
  • 50 grams minced garlic
  • 1 egg
  • 15 grams of sweetened condensed milk
  • 10 grams of honey
  • 2 tbsp dry parsley

Making Steps

How to make:

  1. For bread: mix milk, sugar and yeast. Stir until dissolved.
  2. Add flour, eggs and salt and mix until smooth. After that add the butter and knead until the dough is smooth.
  3. After kneading, let the dough rise for 1 hour.
  4. Divide the dough into 4 round shapes and let it rest for 30 minutes. While resting, cover the dough with a cloth or cling wrap.
  5. Bake the bread at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes. 
  6. Once cool, divide the bread into 6 or 8 parts and do not break. set aside
  7. For cream cheese: Combine cream cheese and sugar, then mix well. Add whipped cream, then stir again until smooth. Put it in a piping bag.
  8. For the garlic butter dip: melt the butter, add the garlic, condensed milk, egg, honey and parsley. Stir well. Set aside.

Addition

Final completion:

  • Fill the sidelines of the bread that has been split earlier with the cream cheese filling.
  • After that, dip the entire surface of the bread with the garlic butter sauce.
  • Bake the bread for 20 minutes at 160 degrees.
  • Lift and serve.
